Creamed Corn

There is nothing like homemade creamed corn. It makes the perfect side dish for any occasion and your holiday dinner guests with not be disappointed.

  • 24 oz frozen corn
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ⅓ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  1. In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in flour for one minute
  3. Add milk, heavy cream, salt, parmesan, and cream cheese and stir for 2 minutes until cream cheese is melted
  4. Add frozen corn and cook for 15 minutes , stirring often, until sauce is thick and creamy.
  5. Serve the creamed corn immediately.
