Creamed Corn

There is nothing like homemade creamed corn. It makes the perfect side dish for any occasion and your holiday dinner guests with not be disappointed.
- 24 oz frozen corn
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- ⅓ cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour for one minute
- Add milk, heavy cream, salt, parmesan, and cream cheese and stir for 2 minutes until cream cheese is melted
- Add frozen corn and cook for 15 minutes , stirring often, until sauce is thick and creamy.
- Serve the creamed corn immediately.
