Who doesn't love a one-pot wonder like this! Easy to make and clean up.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (1.25 oz.) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (15 oz.) bag restaurant style white corn tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup finely shredded taco style cheese blend
  • 2 cups restaurant style salsa
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Heat Dutch oven over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook breaking up into small crumbles, until cooked through and browned, about 5 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water and simmer until mixture has thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove beef from oven and set aside.
  3. Clean Dutch oven and spread a layer of tortilla chips over the bottom. Top with half of ground beef mixture and 1 cup of cheddar cheese shreds.
  4. Top evenly with another layer of tortilla chips, remaining ground beef and remaining cheese.
  5. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbling at the edges, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Let nacos cool slightly before topping with salsa and dollops of sour cream. Garnish with cilantro and serve.
